Absolutely stunning place! We booked it all out for my family who came from abroad for our wedding. Couldn't have wished for a more beautiful setting. Hugh and Jane we absolutely phenomenal and my family loved them and their vineyard! Highly recommended
We stayed with our hosts Hugh and Jane at Quinta dos Tres Rios on the first weekend of July. Wow this is a place not to miss on your trip to Portugal, its the amazing country side that you dont get to see in Porto or Lisbon. The scenery and peacefulness of the area is very quaint. The village is called Parada da Gonta. We travelled from New Zealand to stay at Quinta dos Tres Rios as our daughter did work away there seven years ago and stayed working there for two months ( she loved it that much). So our aim was to one day visit this area and meet Hugh and Jane and to see the paradise our daughter talks fondly of.The home cooked food was amazing, from the jams,chutneys through to their home grown wine. Hugh and Jane certainly make you feel at home. The rooms are very spacious and well appointed, with views over the farm and the local rivers and valley. Whether your are looking for a quiet country retreat or an idyllic base for excursions to the Douro region, Quinta dos Tres Rios is the ideal place to stay.Our stay at Quinta dos Tres Rios was the highlight of our trip to Portugal.
Very comfortable and spacious accommodation set within lovely grounds. Food was amazing and the hosts very welcoming.
